Dawarich
gps.itzgee.com
Everywhere you’ve been, mapped on hardware that isn’t selling it.
replaces Google Timeline · Life360
Dawarich is a private location history platform — the self-hosted answer to Google Timeline, now that Google is winding it down. Your phone reports in as you move, and the map, trip log and statistics build themselves automatically. It’s the same “where was I last Tuesday” convenience, minus the company reading your movements to sell ads.
what it does
Automatic timeline
A phone app or a tracker like OwnTracks or GPSLogger reports your position in the background, building a full daily and yearly timeline with no manual logging.
Interactive map, your history
Routes, visits and heatmaps rendered on a map you can scrub through by day, trip or year — every point stored on this hardware.
Trips & travel stats
Countries and cities visited, total distance travelled, time spent per place — the numbers Google Timeline used to surface, without the ad business behind them.
Import your old Google Timeline
Bring years of history in from a Google Takeout export, or from OwnTracks, GPX and GeoJSON — nothing has to start from zero.
Photos on the map
Pairs with Immich to pin geotagged photos to the places they were taken, turning the timeline into a proper visual record.
