Immich is a private photo and video library with the polish of the big services: automatic upload from your phone, a fast timeline, albums and search by what is in the picture. The difference is where the thinking happens: face grouping and smart search run on the server itself, not through somebody else’s cloud.

Automatic upload from your phone
The iPhone and Android apps send new photos and videos over in the background, as you take them.
Search by what’s in the picture
“Dog on a beach”, “red car”, a person’s face. The library is indexed so you can find anything in seconds.
Intelligence on the server
Face grouping and smart search run on the server. No outside service sees a single picture.
Albums and sharing
Organise into albums and share them with other members.
RAW and video friendly
