delivery and returns

Delivery & returns

Everything in the store is produced individually rather than in bulk. That shapes both how long delivery takes and what happens if you change your mind — so both are set out plainly here.

how long it takes

Making and shipping

An order runs in two stages. First it is made — printed, stitched or finished by hand at one facility in Blackburn, Lancashire. That usually takes two to five working days. Then it is shipped to you. The estimates below cover both stages together, counted from the day you order.

DestinationDeliveryEstimate
United Kingdom Free 3 to 8 working days
Ireland & Europe £9.95 up to 15 working days
US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, Norway £14.95 up to 20 working days

These are estimates, not guarantees — but if an order has not reached you within 30 days of purchase, you can treat the contract as at an end and ask for your money back in full, including delivery.

We do not ship outside the countries listed above. The store sells one item per order — if you want several things you will place several orders, and each one is made, charged and delivered on its own. Outside the UK that means a delivery charge on each order.

outside the uk

Import VAT and duty

Prices shown are for the goods and delivery only. If you are outside the United Kingdom, your country's import VAT, customs duty and any courier handling fee are charged to you on arrival and are not included in what you pay here. The courier will contact you before they deliver. These charges are set by your own government, not by us, and we cannot tell you in advance what they will be.

Refusing a parcel to avoid those charges is not a cancellation. If it is returned to the sender that way, the cost of the return comes out of your refund.

changing your mind

Your right to cancel

You have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. The 14 days run from the day you receive the goods, not the day you order. You do not need to give a reason, and we honour this in full.

To cancel, tell us before the 14 days are up — email [email protected], or use the form further down this page. Telling us is what matters; simply sending the parcel back without a word is not a cancellation.

Once you have told us, send the goods back within 14 days. You pay the return postage. Get proof of postage — until it reaches us, it is your parcel. We refund what you paid for the goods, plus the standard delivery you paid to receive them, within 14 days of getting them back.

Goods must come back in a condition you could reasonably have handled them in a shop. You are welcome to try a garment on. If it comes back worn, washed, marked or smelling of smoke or scent, we may reduce the refund to reflect the loss in value.

if something is wrong

Faults, damage and wrong items

This is separate from cancelling, it has nothing to do with the 14 days, and nothing on this page limits it. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.

If an item arrives faulty, damaged in transit, misprinted, or is simply not what you ordered, tell us and we will put it right — a replacement or a full refund, your choice. You never pay to return a faulty item, and you never pay for the replacement. Within the first 30 days you have a short-term right to reject and take the refund outright.

A photograph of the problem usually settles it in one message, so send one if you can.

what we do not do

Beyond those two things

Outside the 14-day cancellation right and outside a fault, we do not offer goodwill returns, exchanges or size swaps. Ordering the wrong size on day 20 is not something we can undo.

The practical answer is to check before you buy: every garment page carries a size chart, and those are flat measurements of the garment laid out, not body measurements. Measure a shirt you already own and compare.

You do not have to use this wording — any clear statement that you are cancelling will do. It is here because you are entitled to be given it. Copy it into an email to [email protected].

Complaints

Email [email protected], or if you have an account on the network, raise a ticket at /account/tickets — that keeps the whole thread in one place. Either route reaches us.

If we cannot sort it out between us, you can take a consumer dispute to Citizens Advice, who can refer it on. Nothing here affects your statutory rights.

sending something back

Return address

Email [email protected] before you send anything back and we will confirm the address to use. Please do not post an item without telling us first — an unannounced parcel is very hard to match to an order, and that only delays your refund.
